Meet Nunchuck

Nunchuck Games is a new kind of video game creator. It's the brainchild of Nunchuck's President and CEO, David Luntz, who ran a development studio for a decade. David had this to say about the creation of Nunchuck:

"The idea behind Nunchuck is that it's what I call a micro-publisher. We think of a new game property, and then work with a development studio that's really excited about turning the concept into software, and then partner with a company like EA that can help us distribute and publish it. Using this approach way we can stay small and focus on the creative part of game development without having to operate a big corporate organization."

The development studio Nunchuck chose to create Ninja Reflex is Sanzaru Games, started buy seven game developers who are no strangers to working with David...

"Sanzaru was started by 7 super-talented industry veterans who worked with me for years at my former studio, Z-Axis, which became part of Activision® in 2002. I've worked with Glen, who runs the studio, for almost a decade. I know all of them very well and have profound faith in their abilities. It was an easy decision to partner with them, and I'm so glad I did."

Together with EA publishing the game in North America and Europe, Nunchuck Games and Sanzaru Games will give gamers the chance to develop their Ninja skills, test them in competition, and earn a black belt from their own personal Sensei.

"Ninja Reflex trains players to be better gamers by sharpening their speed and skill, and is exactly the kind of unique concept and creative design that EAP helps bring to market on a global stage," said David DeMartini, Vice President and General Manager of EA Partners. "EA Partners brings the same publishing resources to bear for up-and-coming partners like Nunchuck Games as it does for legendary teams like Valve and Harmonix, helping foster the independent game development community by giving studios of all sizes a chance to publish their games around the world."
